Ian Brown
CO-OWNER
Ian has over 20 years' experience in the design and publishing industry. He has worked for various national publications. including Discover, Runner’s World, Field & Stream, Men’s Fitness, Men’s Health, TIME, and Scientific American. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated extensive experience in all aspects of design, illustration, production and animation. Family time, surfing and basketball are what recharge Ian’s batteries and keep the creative juices flowing.
ED GABEL
CO-OWNER
Ed has more than 25 years’ experience in the publishing industry and specializes in illustration and animation. He began his career as an artist for newspapers, which led to a position at TIME magazine. His illustrations have appeared on the covers of TIME, Newsweek, and Rolling Stone among others. He has also created artwork used by Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, DC Comics, and ESPN. He spends his free time riding throughout the northeast on his Harley Davidson.
KRISTI PALL
Senior Designer
Kristi has spent the bulk of her career at Hearst Magazines. As the Hearst Women’s Lifestyle Group, Marketing/Advertising Creative Director, Kristi conceptualized and executed “big ideas” that garnered the attention of advertisers for magazines like Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, Country Living, and more. Additionally, Kristi was the creative lead on brand events, such as the award-winning Woman’s Day Red Dress Awards. Kristi’s guilty pleasures include Bravo, true-crime podcasts, and mah-jongg.
